Tamarron Elementary School

Tamarron ES adheres to the following dress code:​

Tops: ​

Solid color collared (polo style) tops with no stripes, patterns, or logos larger than 4 inches or Tamarron Elementary spirit wear. Solid color jackets and sweatshirts​.

Bottoms:​

Khaki, black, navy or blue jean solid slacks, shorts, skorts, skirts, capris, or jumpers, no shorter than mid-thigh and worn at the waist, belted if appropriate, and not “baggy”. No rips or tears, pajamas, sweatpants, athletic pants, or form-fitting materials (leggings)​. Leggins worn must be accompanied by a dress, skirt, skort, or shorts covering to mid-thigh length​

Dresses​

Collared (polo style) dress or jumper in any solid color​, no shorter than mid-thigh for all grades.

Shoes:​

Must be worn at all times​. Chosen for safety, health reasons, and quietness. Athletic shoes with a rubber sole, closed toes, and full support around the heel should be worn for PE and recess​. No backless shoes, flip flops, crocs, house shoes or shoes with wheels are allowed.​

​Accessories/Other:​

ID Badges must be worn on a lanyard around the neck. Badges must be maintained in the same condition as issued (no stickers, drawings, holes punched, or scratches on picture). Earrings, hair jewelry, watches, bracelets, rings, and necklaces that are not a safety hazard or create a substantial disruption may be worn.​

Tamarron Elementary’s Dress Code:  established to teach grooming and hygiene, prevent disruption, and minimize safety hazards. Any article of clothing or grooming that the principal or designee determines inappropriate, a safety concern, or can reasonably be expected to cause disruption or interference with normal school operations is prohibited.  

Hats, caps, sport headbands, bandanas, headcovers, or scarves shall not be worn indoors except in the interest of religious practices, safety, that will in any way will damage school property, create a safety hazard, or create a material or substantial disruption to the school environment. Tattoos, accessories, jewelry, and clothing that contain vulgar or inappropriate pictures, words, or drawings, or gang-related markings are not permitted.
